Second Skin Method
Leave on for the time instructed, if it’s been damaged, shifted, or is peeling off. Please re-tape, or adjust second skin. It MUST stay on! If you have trouble or it comes of completely.
CONTACT US BEFORE DOING ANYTHING
Once the time instructed has finished, feel free to come back and let us remove it. Clean the tattoo once with unscented soap, Then start applying unscented cream 2-3 times a day very lightly.
Further cleaning is not necessary unless necessary. Be caretul not to remove scabs.

Bandage Method
Change your bandage before bed, Clean tattoo with unscented soap lathered with water in your hands first. Clean thoroughly of any blood or plasma. Apply 2nd bandage, and leave it on until morning.
In the morning remove the bandage, and clean it again before applying 3rd bandage, Throughout the day switch and clean it, applying a 4th bandage. Repeat this process until it is no longer wet with blood/plasma. Send your tattoo aftercare picture to Piranha Tattoo for confirmation.
Apply unscented cream 2-3 times a day
Unscented Cream Substitutes
Lubriderm, Aquaphor, Aveeno
NO Vaseline, polysperin/Neosporin/similar substance
It’s too thick, & deprives the tattoo of oxygen, that is necessary for it to heal
Avoid Exercising/Sports for at least a week
Clean tattoo after exercising or heavy sweating. Then reapply the cream if it is dry
DO NOT remove scabs EVER they must come off naturally.
Do not enter dirty bodies of water, showers are excluded. Chemicals/feces/bacteria reside in it. If you have a fresh wound, it’s the quickest way to infection. No pools, jacuzzi saunas, hot tubs etc. No long sun/UV exposure of any sort.
No excuses. No loopholes
These issues will cause A LOT of fading/discolouring to your fresh new tattoo.
